Before or at time of pick up, we require:
Each animal must be haltered and have the following:

a microchip
-
up-to-date Health Certificates from a vet (must be within
the last 30 days and valid through final date of transport)

negative BVDV report from their vet
-
proof of negative blood tests if required by the destination
state

full mortality and theft insurance (If the owner declines
to carry livestock insurance and hence act as self-insured,
Caliente Alpaca Transport requires a waiver and release
of liability.)
Note: Any animal suspected to be a threat to the health of
other on-board alpacas will be rejected for travel. We reserve
the right to use our discretion in this and other matters.
